Share and Communicate
Storing all your information in Ability8 means you can share key details whenever you need to. You can:
Invite and manage what other users view and edit within the app.
Use our built-in chat feature to talk with support workers.
Create up to three individualised reports around Care, Medical or General content you can print or email when needed.
If you self manage NDIS, you can use Ability8 to collate information ready to submit a claim to the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and help meet the regulatory requirements. Once you've approved payments in Ability8, you're ready to create your claim.
Manage your Support Team
Ability8 allows you to manage support workers and therapists easily. You can schedule care, organise payroll, establish timesheets and ensure you're meeting tax and super contribution obligations.
Built-in payroll: pay your support workers easily (including PAYG tax and superannuation) whether you have a WPN or an ABN, including generating payslips for employees.
Scheduling and timesheets: our schedule functionality means there's less chance of schedules clashing or missing important dates. Staff can even contact each other in the app to check key information, such as getting updates from previous shifts or providing handover notes.
Workplace health and safety: you can also stay on top of your insurance and ensure all staff have current Blue Cards and police checks, including setting reminders of when expiry dates are coming up.
Email and Push notifications: notify staff of shift changes and remind yourself about payments or insurance renewals.
Store contact details: store all your support workers' and therapist contact information in one secure location, securely stored in an Australian data centre.
